Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis); that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all coauthors, if any.
Industria Textila journal follows the traditional and is the most common method of reviewing Double Blind Peer Review: the authors do not know who the reviewers are and the reviewers do not know who the authors are.
The main steps of the peer-review process are the following:
• Paper submission
The corresponding or submitting author submits the electronic format of the manuscripts by using journal’s submission site manuscriptmanager.net/it or using the button Submit manuscript on the journal website www.revistaindustriatextila.ro, following the guidelines.
• Paper registration
The submission system generates a registration number for each submitted paper and sends to corresponding author(s) a confirmation email - with all info necessary for online tracking status of the paper.
• Anti-plagiarism check
A verification of the paper is made by the Editor-in-Chief regarding the fulfilment of the similarity criterion using anti-plagiarism software.
• Editor-in-Chief's evaluation
The Editor-in-Chief performs the first evaluation of the paper regarding the alignment to the purpose of the journal and the fulfilment of the template requirements: presentation, length, structure, style, composition.
• Reviewer invitation
If the paper meets the quality conditions, the Editorial board selects minimum two qualified reviewers, renowned scientist and considered expert in the subject the article concerns, whose names are not disclosed without their consent, for each submitted manuscript.
• Reviewer's evaluation
The review process is based on an evaluation form which assesses the scientific and technical standard of the manuscripts. The manuscript will be accepted for publication provided reviews are favourable. In case of diversified opinions of the reviewers, the Editorial board will make the final decision. If not accepted for publication, the manuscripts and the figures will not normally be returned. The authors will be notified as soon as possible on the result of manuscript evaluation (to be published, to be modified, rejected).
• Editor-in-Chief's decision
The Editor-in-Chief sends a final decision email to the corresponding or submitting author.
- If Revisions are required, authors have to submit revised Paper for further reviews.
